You keep thinking about politics, but you don’t want to.

No matter how much money you make, you will feel left behind by inflation.

You like that, you can Google everyone you know and see what they’re up to, but you don’t want to contact them and you don’t want them to contact you.

You’ve watched so much streaming TV during lockdown that you’re looking for something new and premium, and can’t find it.

You can’t trust streaming TV that people recommend. They’ve seen very little, and what they’ve seen, they always say they like.

If you haven’t seen Game of Thrones, you’re considered flawed. I know because I don’t.

You can’t wait for self-driving cars, and you can’t wait to not own a car at all, and just need one to show up at your door when you need to go somewhere.

Want more human contact, but don’t want to leave the house to get it.

Obsessed with online content that you don’t want to tell anyone.

Keep going back to the old and the familiar because life today is so complicated with so many options and choices.

Not only are you ignoring ads from big corporations, but also from online influencers. Your most trusted source for products are Amazon reviews.

Hate airlines, hate the whole flying experience from gate to gate.

Fear of telling your truth to strangers, fear that they will become violent.

Thinking about going somewhere because of potential criminality.

Heard the most about climate change from polluters.

Wish there was a musician you could follow for insight and advice, but you can’t find it. The rock musicians of yesteryear were saints. Today’s pop musicians are empty boats, selling themselves to the highest bidder.

The history of recorded music is at your fingertips, but finding new music you love can be nearly impossible.

I worry about what I have and where I go, for fear of being criticized by people who don’t have it. Unless you’re super rich and live in a bubble where you’ll never meet people who don’t.

Tired of hearing what billionaires think.

Don’t want to get Covid, even if you think you’ll survive.

Tired of ignorance, or ignorance. Furthermore, those who have the most confidence in their opinions are the ones who know the least.

Constantly being told to buy a new technology product when the old one still works fine.

There is a backlash against health nuts. As my doctor told me, is there any point in being alive if you can’t eat donuts?

You don’t think it’s enough.

You crave humanity and hate humanity.

You live for the unexpected.

Tired of hearing about people’s ancestry, where they went to college, who their friends are, their strengths…what does that have to do with who you really are?

Everyone wants to be famous, but you can be famous instead of rich, and fame lasts shorter than ever.

Companies don’t want you on their payroll. They want you to be an independent contractor, but swear allegiance when in fact they’ll cut your ass off at will.

The financialization of everything drives you crazy. Wall Street owns the parking meters, the housing market, and everyone seems to get rich from everyday life except you.

You are fed up with Luddites. Thirty years on, life has moved on so fast, but there are still people who want to go back to the past, which is gone forever.

You get tired of people criticizing internet addiction/behaviour, when in reality these old people, and they are old people, would be addicted to these same gadgets if they were young themselves.

There are so many concerts in your city that everything is blurring. You once wanted to see them all, and now you’re wondering if you should see any of them.

Tired of people telling you how to improve yourself… what to eat, what to think, as if everyone on the planet is a healer, when that’s clearly not true, what works for one will work for another Useful alone.

Loving you never has to be boring, a plethora of stimulation is at your fingertips. However, you may be one of the few who use it. So if you want to talk about it with your friends…

Don’t understand why people still go to the movies unless they’re young and need to get out of the house and/or are dating. We live in an on demand culture where movies have specific start times that never fit into your schedule and if you go you end up wasting a lot of time in the process.

Realize that time is the only real commodity and you don’t want to waste it.

You feel like something is priced.

There’s a club, but you don’t feel like you’re part of it, and no matter what you do, you’ll never be a member.

There is always something better to be told, to be flexible and keep going, when in fact there is a lot of power in being persistent, staying the course, it’s just not sexy.

You know almost all casts are empty containers. The Internet has revealed this.

I don’t know who the people in the gossip column are, not only the old people, but also the young people.

Hearing everyone talking about SNL but you don’t even know who the host is. Oh, you read their names and ask yourself who is that?

Reputation is expendable. This is the painful part of politics, elected officials have no spine, do what they say, and make do with expediency.

You know more people than ever, reach out to more people than ever, but are always worried about who you can trust.

Either smoke weed or weed, weed is king and will solve all your problems Mania or no, there is nothing in between.

Having friends give you bullshit medical theories is like teaching you lies in medical school. The richer and more educated they are, the crazier the theory gets.

No CD player at home.

Probably no DVD player either.

Check your smartphone first thing in the morning when you wake up.

You are always being told what to do and you don’t do it.

Love being disconnected, but it’s harder than ever.
